The residence

Your apartment will be ready from 4:00 PM.
Expecting to arrive after the reception has closed?
Take your time on the road, everything is taken care of. We will arrange a fully autonomous arrival for you, with simple instructions sent by SMS or WhatsApp.
The next day, feel free to stop by reception to finalise your check‑in and get plenty of personalised tips for your stay.
Check-out
You can enjoy your apartment until 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Before you leave, just one small detail: please come and see us the day before to schedule the time of the check‑out inspection.
A well‑organised departure means a light and peaceful mind.
Check-in

Running late? We’ll organise a smooth self‑check‑in by SMS or WhatsApp.
See us the next morning for a warm welcome and local tips.

Travel light! bed linen and towels are included for your entire stay.
Settle in, relax, everything is already prepared for your comfort.
Cleaning
Make the most of your holiday right up to the last moment.
For a stress‑free departure, a €70 end‑of‑stay cleaning option is available. Your small departure checklist will be provided on site to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Useful tips for your stay
Deposit
At check‑in, we place a €400 pre‑authorization on your credit card (or take a cheque). This amount isn’t charged and will be released after your departure, once the check‑out inspection has been completed later in the day.
Living together at the residence
Les Alcyons is a place designed for switching off and slowing down. To ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful stay, we kindly ask you to keep noise levels low in the evening and at night.
Smoking policy
For everyone’s comfort, all indoor areas are strictly non‑smoking.
You’re welcome to use your balcony or terrace for smoking — ashtrays are provided.
For safety reasons, barbecues are not permitted in these outdoor spaces.

Surrounded by ocean, estuary, marshes and pine forests, we’re lucky to enjoy an incredible natural setting — and we do our best to protect it every day.
Water & electricity: easy holiday habits
The ocean may be endless, but fresh water is precious.
A few simple gestures make all the difference during your stay: avoid letting water run for too long and switch off the lights when you head out for a walk or to the beach.
Recycling: keeping things simple
A dedicated waste room is available to help you sort your rubbish effortlessly. And for glass bottles, a recycling container is waiting for you right in front of the residence, next to the local shops.
A heated pool… powered by sunshine!
Our pool isn’t artificially heated — a choice that’s both eco‑friendly and totally in tune with the holiday spirit. Heating an outdoor pool uses huge amounts of energy for barely 1–2°C more. So we let the generous Gironde sunshine warm the water naturally!

Free Wi‑Fi is available in the common areas — around the pool, in the activity room and on its terrace — so you can share your best holiday moments.

Holidays are for the whole family — pets included!
Your furry companions are welcome at the residence. A dedicated area awaits them near the pine forest, and waste bags are available right next to it.
A small contribution of €5 per day applies.
How to get to the residence
By car
From Bordeaux (1h30): Follow the iconic Route des Châteaux (D1215) through the Médoc vineyards all the way to the tip of the peninsula. A beautiful drive that already feels like the start of your holiday.
By ferry
From Royan (20 min): Cross the estuary by car or on foot — the perfect way to kick off your break with a breath of sea air. A little tip: make sure to check the ferry timetable before you leave, as crossings vary throughout the day.
By train
From Bordeaux, get off at Le Verdon‑sur‑Mer station.
From there, it’s just an 8‑minute walk before you can drop your bags and start enjoying your stay at Les Alcyons.
